University & College Options

When completing an OSSD with 6 4U/4M credits with a student average of 80% or higher this will open up pathways to a successful University/ College applications.

University Bound
The Universities applications go through a centralized system called Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) and this is done by mid January for the following September start date. The following Ontario universities are available on OUAC:

Brock University
Carleton University
University of Guelph
Lakehead University
Laurentian University
McMaster University
Nipissing University
OCAD University
University of Ottawa
Queens University
Royal Military College of Canada
Ryerson University
University of Toronto
Trent University
University of Ontario Institute of Technology ( UOIT)
University of Waterloo
Western University
Wilfred Laurier University
University of Windsor
York University

Students can also apply to Canadian Universities out of the Province of Ontario. These are done as separate applications; they are not on a central application system. Some of the university choices are but not limited to:

College Bound
If you are a student that is interested in pursuing college as your post secondary choice, the following colleges are available on a centralized application system called Ontario College Application Centre (OCAS). The following colleges are available to apply to through this system:
